TSA PreCheck

Our Downtown Dayton Auto Title Office TSA Enrollment Services, includes the following programs:

  • TSA PreCheck - An expedited security screening program connecting travelers departing from the United States with smarter security and a better air travel experience.
  • TWIC - A threat assessment for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) program which includes workers who access secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. After their initial 5 year Security Threat Assessment (STA), customers may be eligible to complete their renewal online
  • HAZMAT - A threat assessment for any driver seeking to obtain, renew and transfer a hazardous materials endorsement on a state-issued commercial driver’s license.
  • FTSP - The Flight Training Security Program (FTSP) is supported by TSA’s enrollment provider for fingerprint capture services as part of the application process.

Do I need an appointment?

The Clerk of Courts does not require an appointment for TSA PreCheck, however priority does go to those with appointments. Appointments can be made online through the TSA Application website.

Where do I go to get TSA PreChecked?

We are currently completing TSA PreCheck at our Downtown Dayton Auto Title Branch at 451 W Third St., Dayton, OH 45422.

What do I need to bring with me for TSA PreCheck?

When you arrive for TSA PreCheck, you will need your government issued photo id and a credit card to pay the fee. Additionally, a passport or birth certificate along with name change documentation are required if the names on the forms of id do not match.

What is the application fee?

Application fees vary by service. TSA Precheck is $78 for 5 years.

Please note that TSA Enrollments only accept credit card payments, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, money orders, and cashiers or company checks.
We do not accept Cash or Personal Checks.
All payments must be made to IDEMIA.

How do I know when I’m approved for TSA PreCheck?

Most applicants will receive their KTN (Known Traveler Number) in 3-5 days, though some applications can take up to 60 days.
